Another successful parachute repack session was held in the Templemore Garda Training College sports hall on the Sunday morning after the night before's AGM and historic Irish Grand-Slam rugby triumph over Wales!

This year's AGM was an historic event, seeing the winding up of the IHPA as an unlimited Association and its rebirth as a limited company, IHPA Ltd.; a move designed to minimise the risk of exposure by its officers and members to potential claims on their personal assets in the event of legal action following an accident. Up until now our position has been precarious and officers stood to loose their houses and other assets if an injured pilot's next of kin decided to sue. After taking legal advice we hope the move will limit our liability and keep our roofs over our heads!
