Apco XC 2009 Challenge


 
The IHPA is proud to launch the "APCO 100km paraglider challenge". The challenge is for the first Irish paraglider to fly 100km or more on the island of Ireland and the prize is an APCO paraglider of the winners choice. See below for competition rules.

Rules:

(1) The pilot must be a current and paid up member of the IHPA
(2) The pilot must be resident of the Republic of Ireland.
(3) The flight must take off and land on the island of Ireland
(4) The pilot must supply a GPS download (IGC track log file) to prove there achievement
(5) The flight must have taken place on an unpowered glider of up to LTF2 class (LTF2 and above gliders must fly 10% further to claim the prize i.e 110km. Uncertified gliders are excluded from the competition)
(6) The competition will close on the 31/12/09
(7) The winner is entitled to there choice of standard paraglider (i.e not tandem glider) from the APCO range.
(8) The winner agrees to participate in any marketing or publicity that APCO require
