Learn to Paraglide

The IHPA does not provide training directly. If you want to learn to paraglide, you will need to go to a training school. They can provide you with a weekend introductory course that will allow you get your first few short flights and introduce you to the excitement of paragliding under safe conditions.

 

Irish Paragliding Centre

Paragliding training in the Dublin area is available from Fred Lahiff's training school (phone: 087 258 9245, website at www.paraglideadventure.com). Fred's school is based near Bray, Co. Wicklow, but training may take place at any one of a number of locations around the Dublin and Wicklow Mountains, depending on the wind direction on the day.
