Ignorance on my part as regards buckling in the design phase has caused my wing to be very heavy. 016 aluminum is not stiff at all....and I also eliminated the extra false ribs...a knowledgeable individual said a 7" span vs 21" would result in 9x the stiffness given the Euler equation. I am currently adding Z stiffener to my skin and have to add a rib to lessen the span for the buckling equation (Euler).
Would recommend raised span wise stiffeners for the Carbon Dragon LE out of aluminum or CF.

Looking at certified aircraft such as the Bonanza has span-wise stiffeners under the skin.
